Following on from the recent speculation about a famous actor super injunction, and also those of a few other celebrity gagging orders, it now appears that a world renowned celebrity chef has discovered the recipe for cooking up a privacy order, via the courts.
The top TV chef has been granted anonymity, over claims he mistreated two employees whom he later sacked at his business empire, which means he cannot be named at an employment tribunal brought by the female and male members of his staff. ‘Miss J’ claims she suffered sex discrimination while the man claims age discrimination and that he is owed wages by the chef’s company, known only as ‘K’ Ltd.
Unfortunately, the judge concerned has warned that anyone divulging the identity of the celebrity chef will be liable to a fine of up to £5000 which, coincidentally, is the same price as a bottle of 1985 Château Pétrus from one of the restaurants owned by this kitchen devil. [< this link maybe nsfw as the site uses the 'c' word ..... oh, and 'The F Word' too]
Anyway, must dash, I’ve got to meet my father-in-law and an ex work colleague for dinner. Sarah, I think he said her name was.
