That Celebrity Chef Injunction

Following on from the recent speculation about a famous actor super injunction, and also those of a few other celebrity gagging orders, it now appears that a world renowned celebrity chef has discovered the recipe for cooking up a privacy order, via the courts.

The top TV chef has been granted anonymity, over injunction celebrity tv chef kitchen devilclaims he mistreated two employees whom he later sacked at his business empire, which means he cannot be named at an employment tribunal brought by the female and male members of his staff. ‘Miss J’ claims she suffered sex discrimination while the man claims age discrimination and that he is owed wages by the chef’s company, known only as ‘K’ Ltd.

Unfortunately, the judge concerned has warned that anyone divulging the identity of the celebrity chef will be liable to a fine of up to £5000 which, coincidentally, is the same price as a bottle of 1985 Château Pétrus from one of the restaurants owned by this kitchen devil. [< this link maybe nsfw as the site uses the 'c' word ..... oh, and 'The F Word' too]

Just saying.

Anyway, must dash, I’ve got to meet my father-in-law and an ex work colleague for dinner. Sarah, I think he said her name was.

  1. I’m confused, Max. Who could this possibly be? The link to the kitchen devil must surely be a coincidence?

  3. Interesting. So employers are now trying to use this as a way of preventing other people stepping forward and saying “Yes, he was like that to me, too”. Having said that, the tribunal system is weighted towards employees who run no financial risk in bringing a case, whereas employers run an automatic one. The standard advice is to pay a complainant off if it is cheaper to do so than to have the argument, which is very like a level of allowable blackmail and is stinky.

There are, of course, some people who you really don’t expect to behave like Mary Fucking Poppins if you go to work for them.

  4. “‘Miss J’ claims she suffered sex discrimination while the man claims age discrimination ….”

Is there any truth in the rumour he called one a cunt, and, one an old fart?

  5. Does the injunction prevent anyone from mentioning he has so many wrinkles that his face looks like it’s been slept in?

  6. Now let me guess… I take it it isn’t anyone connected to a football club or a large advertising agency then :-)

I doubt it will turn out to be the lisping “mockney” loon .. if he attempted to mistreat anyone, male or female .. they’d probably just chin the useless little cunt & have done with it .. ;)

And if it transpires to be the person I suspect it to be .. how that person has avoided a pan full of scalding water, a pan full of boiling oil .. or an urgent appointment with an Orthodontist, for so long is nothing short of a miracle to me ..

If that person came the “old acid” with some of the “pusser’s” Chefs, I’ve served with .. that person would have been taking their scran via a tube long ago ..

    • The chef in question hails from distinctly more notherly lattitudes than the Essex mong you alude to, Skip. This little fact of course rules out Ainsley Harriot. :)

  10. I know Sara S (free agent and widow) and she has been sleeping with Chris H for some years now. They were both fired around the same time in November 2010 and both were directors of GR holdings. She also had a 2.5% interest in the business and is a bright woman. She will take him to the cleaners! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1361155/Gordon-Ramsays-crisis-hit-restaurant-empire-sued-sexual-discrimination.html

  11. These celebrities are such wankers. If they did’t play away, lie and cheat on their spouses they wouldn’t need to take out these injunctions. they should take the pain. They bought on themselves. No one else is to blame.

Footballers are skanky fuckers. Why do these women go for them. They have no shame and will hit on anything in a skirt.
