I am Ben Melchiors, as posted here, Facebook, YouTube, Red Watch and British Resistance sites.
But I am NOT the Ben as the cameraman in the video! I have a different accent, wasn’t there, and don’t know anyone connected. I didn’t know “Carl Anthony” who was first misidentified and then me via a distant contact-of-a-contact on a social network site. I don’t know the real Ben and Anthony, and their identities have been noted elsewhere.
I’ve been receiving death threats and in contact with the police who are monitoring all of this. So please stop furthering this mistaken identity, for my safety, my family and everyone connected to me.

Thank you for taking the time to put the record straight. Just so we are clear, I have never mentioned you in connection with this story on this site or anywhere else. To the best of my knowledge none of the comments on this site contain your name either but if I have missed any, please let me know and I will take the appropriate action. As you already know, I do not believe you had anything to do with this sorry episode.
I will be publishing your comment, in full, in a separate post here … in good faith … just to help you spread the word and make sure that there is no further misunderstanding elsewhere. I hope that meets with your approval.

If Anthony Richardson and Ben Tonge had any sort of decency, then they’d put out a statement, apologising for their video, as little else than a comedy sketch in bad taste, thus exonerating from blame Ben Melchiors and the other kid that initially got the blame, and that I wont name here.
Have Richardson and Tonge got an ounce of decency between the pair of them?

I have to agree with you, Max. I’ve never seen this man’s name appear here. Perhaps he’s got confused with some other blog.
On the subject of death threats, I see that bitch you featured recently (the Blair admirer) has been getting them, too. Not from anyone on this site to the best of my knowledge. But it’s interesting that this woman who describes herself (among other things) as a “warmonger” should start wailing about threats of violence. Even if the threats were followed through on, it’s no more nor less than a “warmonger” deserves IMHO. If you don’t want to meet with extreme violence, it might be a good idea not to promote it in the first place. What goes around comes around as they say…..
