Sharia Hebdo Magazine

I’m not known for my undying support of the French people, in general, but like a few others today I read the story about the offices of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine in Paris, being firebombed because of the front cover image they had chosen for this week’s issue. It announces that the Prophet Mohammed will be the ‘editor-in-chief’ and the publication will be re-named as Sharia Hebdo. Here’s the image of the front cover, for anyone that hasn’t seen it yet :

For those of you that don’t speak or read French, ’100 coups de fouet si vous n’êtes pas morts de rire’ translates to ‘A hundred lashes if you don’t die laughing’. A nice piece of satire, I thought. All very amusing. However, the actual editor-in-chief of Charlie Hebdo, Charb, is certainly not amused by having a petrol bomb lobbed through his office window :

Charlie Hebdo editor in chief Charb newspaper headquarters firebomb mohammed

We no longer have a newspaper. All our equipment has been destroyed or has melted. We cannot, today, put together a paper but we will do everything possible to do one next week. Whatever happens, we’ll do it. There is no question of giving in.

Good on yer Charb!

Now I don’t want to be accused of jumping to conclusions, by throwing stones at the ragheads and bagheads that are more than likely responsible for this , but the fact someone has also hacked the Charlie Hebdo magazine website and left the following message … kinda gives us a clue :

You keep abusing Islam’s almighty Prophet with disgusting and disgraceful cartoons using excuses of freedom of speech. Be God’s curse upon you!

Rather entertaingly the message is in English and Turkish … not in French.

Charb rightly points out,

The arsonists haven’t read this paper, nobody knows what’s in the paper except those who buy it this morning. People are reacting violently to a paper without knowing anything of its contents, that’s what’s most abhorrent and stupid

Quite.

It appears that our islamic friends have had a sense of humour failure and they don’t like it up ‘em. Despite the fact that they don’t really know what it actually consists of.

So that’s decided then … it was the ragheads and bagheads that did it. Oh, but hang on a minute. What’s this? Via DV we see that :

The BBC angle seems to be that these French satirists brought it on themselves being deliberately provocative. No discussion as to who carried out the fire-bombing … It seems that the BBC accepts that Islamists have the right to raze to the ground any building and destroy any company that dares make fun of Mohammed. Not only that but it seeks to place responsibility on the victims of Islamic intolerance

Holy burkas Batman! So if I feel that the BBC News is about to put out a satirical comedy show taking the piss out of Christianity, even though I haven’t got a clue what the content is going to be, then I’m within my rights to lob a Molotov cocktail through the DG’s office window.

Am I?

No? Thought not.

But … the biggest disappointment in all of this is we’ll now never see the Prophet Mohammed editing a copy of a popular satirical magazine. Unless … maybe Ian Hislop might like to take up the idea and make Mohammed the editor-in-chief of Private Eye, for an issue.

Go on Ian … you know you want to.

No, he’s too busy raping nine year olds, the sick paedo cunt. Or at least, he would be, were he not dead and gone to Hell, where he’s sucking dog dick for eternity.

It’s quite a good likeness of the Prophet, though, isn’t it? The only thing missing is his AK47.

I’m rapidly coming to the conclusion that petrol bombing the DG’s office may in fact be the only recourse to saving the BCC from minority rule.

Like our politicians the BBC has not reflected the majority view on any matter since about 1997.

On a similar point, has anyone noticed the campaign Muslims Against Crusades are planing for Remembrance Sunday?

Of course their freedoms will no doubt be protected while us infidels have to be super PC about the Puppet Mohammed.

I am sure the BBC would make more of the burning of the Koran over the burning of poppies.

Hang on. Isn’t this what BBC stands for?

    Bring Back Charia.

@Alien Fish I take it you mean that every BBC news item that has something to do with the general public (gas bills, rubbish collection et al) it has to involve interviewing someone of colour? Yes, I’ve noticed that too!

Fuck off you cunt and take your paedo raping “god” with you. There is nothing that we need from you as all you do is take. The quicker you realise this the better and then you can go back to your inadequate life where no-one cares what you think or do.

Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest they out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance. Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings. In the end will they return to their Lord, and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did (6:108 Al An’Am, Quran)
