Treatment Of Depression Can Be Depressing

Something struck me, the other day, about the treatment of depression. Taking anti-depressant drugs is supposed to help make you feel good about yourself. Giving you a new-found lease of energy. Re-motivation … I think they call it.

Anyway, my observation is this : If you’re prescribed the type of anti-depressant tablet that needs to be taken before you go to bed … it’s very hard to get up in the morning because all you want to do is sleep. One of the side effects of anti-depressant drugs … so I’m told.

Conversely, if you forget to take your anti-depressant pill before you go to bed … it’s very hard to get up in the morning because all you want to do is sleep. One of the side effects of  depression … so I’m told.

.

How terribly depressing.

  1. Just once, about 10 years ago, I went to my doctor about ‘depression’. He prescribed me a one-off one week course of Benzos which was great fun (The Waltons made me cry) and very effective, back to work the following week.
Halfway through that week the Crown Court Officer ‘phoned to confirm that I would be appearing the following day (in a case that had been repeatedly postponed) to which I replied No since A) there had been no advance notice and that B) I was in no fit state to go out for a newspaper still less to appear as a hostile witness against a friend.

He asked for my permission to confirm this with my GP which I agreed to and which cheered me up no end.

(Friend was convicted but not because of me).

  2. Generation RX (documentary) is a pretty decent starting point to find out about modern big pharma treatment and add on treatments to counter the adverse affects of the initial counter treatment’s treatment (you get the idea). The days of being prescribed generic (old fashioned straightforward non profitmaking and effective) treatments like banned mentioned are over.

  3. Buy seeds from Holland. (feminised autos)
    Plant them in good soil
    Tend them carefully
Three months later harvest the flowers.
    Dry and bake into Brownies.
Take when depressed and start giggling.

Note:- I have no idea what the above is all about. I just read it in a Self-help manual.

  4. I’m depressed because of the higher taxes I have to pay, that subsidises the anti-depressants doled out on prescription. Should I consult my doctor for a cure?

  5. I’m pretty depressed about all sorts of things – not least the way the country is going down the shitter. A few years ago I went to the doctor and was instantly prescribed Seroxat ( I think it was). I was told it needed several weeks to become effective. After 2 days I felt so bad I threw the packet in the bin.

Having worked with several people who were on similar drugs I’ve decided I will take my chances rather than be chemically “cured”…

I find it increasingly hard to get up in the morning, but that’s because I can’t sleep due to worrying – how’s that for depressing!!

  6. You can’t really blame doctors as they have only ever been “indoctrinated” into the Rockefeller school of petro-chemical “health-care”. Rockefeller made sure that only medical centres that pushed his chemicals were allowed by law. This is now the official system adopted throughout the West. A “cure” is an anathema to the petro-chemical pharmaceutical industry because if they ever really cure someone they lose a long-term customer. Synthetic drugs only mask the systems so the patient may feel better for a while but the underlying problem gets worse.
Cancer is a classic example where more patients survive who do not opt for chemo and radiation that are both big money spinners. Chemo and Radiation both shrink tumours but eventually kill the patient because the immune system is destroyed.
Believe it or not a human is an animal of Mother Nature and responds best to things that are produced by Mother Nature not by an oil well.

Only drink distilled water with a little Himalayan Pink Salt added. Why? you may ask.

Most people think that fluoride is what you have in your toothpaste or water, but they are unaware of the fact that Prozac is a fluoride product, Almost all psychotropic drugs are fluoride products.

Fluoride is put into the water to dumb-down the population. It also causes DEPRESSION” because it fucks-up the thyroid.

OK why the Pink Salt? Because it’s mined and is pristine. It also contains all the essential minerals and does not contain modern day chemicals found in the sea.

Table salt is not real by the way. It’s also made from oil industry products. That’s why table salt kills you. We all need sal but only the natural kind.

I’m stopping now because I’m beginning to frighten myself.

  7. St Johns Wort is a good natural anti depressant, worth a try if you’re looking to cut out big pharma products.
Steer clear of Nutmeg aswell as it does the opposite, in large quantities it gives you the feeling of ‘impending doom’.

  9. In my experience as a Consultant Radiotherapist, George Silver, most men reject chemo and radiotherapy because there is a danger of impotence. They’d rather die than not be able to get it up.

In my opinion this makes them pricks – or not as the case may be.

    • I’ve got a Norwegian friend who went for a check-up bad had no symptoms was told he might have a problem. Then was told he had prostate cancer. Went to Norway where the knife happy surgeon of the “old school” said you should have it “all taken away”. Went back to France and had the whole thing out.

Result:- He has spent the last three years pissing into a bag and wearing nappies when he goes out. Suicide has been on the agenda a few times but he manages to get over it.

I’ve had two cousins die with cancer. they had all the usual high-end high tech chemo. When one of them refused to die quickly they gave him radiation. He then slipped into a coma for two weeks and died.

Most people are shit scared when they are told they have cancer and will do whatever they are told. Some lucky ones think for themselves like this guy.
I urge everyone who has read this to see what this guy did.

      • ps. Doctors it would seem have an average life expectancy of 58 years. They have the most drug and alcohol abuse.
This may or may not be true but I think there is something to it.

Anyway. Obviously the last person to see about healthy living.

        Next!…. Sit down….What’s the problem? ,….. Here’s a prescription…..Off you go. Next!…. Sit down….What’s the problem? ,….. Here’s a prescription…..Off you go. Next!…. Sit down….What’s the problem? ,….. Here’s a prescription…..Off you go.

        • Better pissing into a bag than dead. We do our best but the solutions to these things are seldom as straight forward as you suggest.

Best to get to know all your options. We do know that patients are scared. We’re not as naive as you are suggesting and the knife is never an easy or first option. Believe it or not, it upsets us to lose patients. And we’re not all ‘knife happy’

          • Yes but recent “medical” thoughts say that he didn’t need anything done.
In fact most interventions are not necessary.
Most people enter the medical profession to do good but they are controlled and prevented from thinking for themselves. Everything that doesn’t conform is branded as quackery and yet there are some Oncologists who have dared to actually cure people by using “unorthodox” methods and have been struck-off.
I shall not say anymore as it makes me angry. After my cousins died I made a study of the subject and I now wish they were here so that I could tell them to avoid poisoning there system with chemo and frying their themselves internally with radiation.

            Where’s my wine?

            • I can assure they wouldn’t be here if they followed your advise because you are ignorant and ill-informed. Sorry to be so blunt, but if I let your comments go unchallenged, then there is a risk people will listen to you and end up dead.

Patients should gather all the facts and make their own informed choices, As far as quackery is concerned, it seems to be exactly what you are advocating.

              • Yeah, well qualified doctors aren’t exactly invariably infallible, are they? I mean, what about that wanker that treated Michael Jackson? And Harold Shipman? No guarantees in this life!

  10. My take on the situation is rather more fundamental:

“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” – Krishnamurti

Once again, the Cultural Marxists’ ‘utopia’ we live under is the principal cause of this increasingly widespread illness.

    My tips:

1). Get away from the ugliness in your life by:

    a) dumping the TV and MSM radio
    b) if you’re in a ‘multicultural’ area, get the hell out!
    c) don’t read ‘lifestyle magazines’ and the tabloids

    2). Additionally:

    d) Avoid any processed/doctored food or drink
    e) avoid pharmaceuticals wherever possible

    Simples.

    • d) Avoid any processed/doctored food or drink
Does this include alcohol ? Eating grapes/apples and or malt won’t get me pissed .

      • I recommend nature’s cheap and cheerful antidepressants: sugar, salt, fat and alcohol.
Not surprisingly, the government – which wants us to be perpetually miserable – is always telling us to avoid them!

    • Which is pretty much what Krishnamurti was getting at…

Max, take some comfort from the fact that intelligence and happiness run in inverse proportion to one another. An Iranian chap of my acquaintance, a delightful fellow and a secular Muslim summed it up rather well: “you’d better hope you can’t put two and two together in this world because if you can, you’re really fucked.”

  12. Anti-depressants and violent crime are linked. Hardly surprising when the former only suppresses anger at a wicked world, without destroying that feeling – which erupts again at a later date. It’s just a pity that the ensuing violence is directed at the innocent rather than the wicked.
